A Norristown, Pa., police sergeant who drove into a naked man and launched him into the air was charged Tuesday with aggravated assault, prosecutors announced.

The shooting happened Tuesday night in Kidder Township on Route 940 near Route 534 after a vehicle pursuit involving municipal police.

A strong cold front will bring west-northwest winds up to 30 mph Wednesday afternoon, followed by a secondary front ushering in colder conditions Thursday and Friday.
